When you order this piece we knit & hand-finish it right here in our Vermont design studio using only 100% natural New England wool. We purchase the wool directly from hill farmers, which helps them stay on their land & keeps New England farmed. It's then gently processed into yarn in Vermont, retaining traces of weather-proofing lanolin & slight signs of vegetation. We use undyed yarns to knit The Micki so the color can vary from year to year depending on the sheep who provide the wool.
Hand wash in tepid water with a clear, gentle detergent. Rinse & wring out excess water then roll in a towel to extract more water & lay flat on a dry towel.
The Micki has a boxy oversized silhouette - Hanna is 5'5" & wearing a size Medium. See Size Chart for measurements.
We knit pieces as they're ordered to prevent wasteful overstocking & our production process can take up to 3 weeks.
We ship either Priority Mail or Ground Advantage from the US Post Office in the village of North Hero & will send you a tracking number when your package is off.
If your real wool sweater doesn't work for you, just let us know within 30 days & we'll send you a return label for exchange or refund.
